What is wrong with these politicians.
From Malaysiakini reports, "Karpal Singh response to Anwar on the hudud issue";
The pre-requisite of implementing hudud laws is the setting up of an Islamic state. It is wrong for Anwar to imply that the implementation of hudud laws would not affect everyone, including the non-Muslims.

Why can't we just let them, PAS and umno hit at each other on this issue. We know very well that it is near to impossible to implement the hudud laws at present time or even after the next generation. They can say whatever they want about hudud laws since they are muslim and our great country always "allow the freedom of speech".

This KT by-election is very crucial to both Pakatan Rakyat and umno and we non muslim should not be agitated by PAS and umno quarrelling over the hudud issue. Let them say whatever they want and we know it will end up the same, that Malaysia to us will still be a secular country. This issue is a non issue to the non muslim - period.

Go and campaign to the people of KT on the right and immediate issues facing them today.

  1. You are right about the first part.BUT you can't agree that 'This issue is a non issue to the non muslim - period'. There are many things will involve both Muslims and non Muslims then it will become a non Muslim issue. We don't want body snatching cases like situations arise due to the supremist islamist. I would rather be cautious on that stand you have taken

  2. yup, Hudud might not be implemeted in 5 years.... but how about 10 years. Then only you start complain about it?

    Hudud has been used in Saudi Arab against non muslim as well. Is that the way you want?
