Bukit Gantang, Bukit Selambau And Batang Air (Ai) By-Election Series

The Perak crisis is still hanging with no solution in sight while three by-elections had been announced with polling date set on the 7th April 2009.

Will we be seeing fresh election for Perak as well? Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin will be seeking an audience with the Sultan of Perak on Tuesday and we have to wait and see whether the Sultan will grant him so. The audience with the Sultan, which everyone know is to seek the Sultan's consent to dissolve the state assembly. The Sultan may grant him the audience but I doubt that he will agree to dissolving the state assembly.

Its going to be a long battle between the two MBs and as they fight it out, who suffers the most? The ordinary rakyat, like you and me is going to suffer the most. I hope the Sultan will be able to see the people's suffering if this crisis is allow to continue.

With the Perak crisis looming on, three by-elections, two states and one parliamentary seat, are the real battle ground for umno/bn and PR to fight them out.

This blog will try to bring back the by-election ceramah online series as and when available. Has yet to decide which constituency will be my base should I need to join in at ground zero. Batang Ai is definitely out. That leaves either Bukit Selambau or Bukit Gantang.

Let us take a look at the 2008 election results of the two Bukit constituencies, Selambau and Gantang.

Can umno/bn win back these two Bukit? We hope not and PR must win with a bigger majority and a referendum that najib is not fit to lead this country.
