Till this posting the police has yet to make any comment on the destruction of the Democracy Tree Plaque.
After two strikes, the loser goes for broke and make it strike three.
Early this morning, the whole vandalised and desecrated Democracy Tree Plaque was uprooted and cart away by the Ipoh City Council workers in a lorry and tractor.
This is what YB Lim Kit Siang said to Perakians and Malaysians:
Perakians and Malaysians must tell Najib and Zambry – You can vandalise and desecrate the Democracy plaque, but you cannot quash and destroy the democracy spirit burning ever stronger in the hearts of Malaysians.
Bukit Selambau, Bukit Gantang and Batang Ai voters, we must stand together and unite to squash umno/bn who is trying their best to destroy this country's democracy.
Can we Malaysians call upon you voters of these three constituencies to give umno/bn a full three strikes to end their arrogant and power crazy attitude.
Lets work together to win all these three by elections and send a clear message to najib and his team of umno/bn parties that we the rakyat have enough of their inconsiderate and careless attitude towards the rakyat.
