Najib, Umno/BN, A Reflection Of Who You All Are !

A very well written piece from The Star to help us understand the political game of "umno controlled bn". Of course the writer would not dare said it directly to the face of "umno controlled bn" leaders but had to use the oppositions as camouflage.

Just read the story and instead of PKR, Pakatan and the opposition leader names, replace them with umno leaders and "umno controlled bn" and you will see very clearly what the writer try to tell us about "umno controlled bn".

What the writer wrote are in italic and what I see in the reflection are in blue or red.

THIS is what we will hear from Parti Keadilan Nasional leaders about the leadership feud in Selangor as they downplay the issue: it is not as bad as portrayed and the press should be blamed for blowing up the matter.

THIS is what we will hear from Parti Barisan Nasional leaders about the leadership feud in Putra Jaya as they downplay the issue: it is not as bad as portrayed and the opposition should be blamed for blowing up the matter.

As much as PKR leaders like to project themselves as defenders of the people and the Barisan Nasional as a corrupt, incompetent and detached government, they cannot run away from the fact that politics is about power – or more precisely, the spoils of power.

As much as "umno controlled leaders" especially Najib, like to project themselves as defenders of the people and the Pakatan Rakyat as a corrupt, incompetent and detached government, they cannot run away from the fact that politics is about power – or more precisely, the spoils of power.

But the PKR, as the main component in the Pakatan, is also like any political party. Politicians may like to project themselves as saviours to the people, and some may even start believing in their own propaganda, but it is also about power and positions.

But the UMNO, as the main component in the Barisan, is also like any political party. Politicians may like to project themselves as saviours to the people, and some (especially Najib) may even start believing in their own propaganda, but it is also about power and positions.

The rest of the story is of course fill and spin with other irrelevant make up innuendos to make it look more of attacking the oppositions rather than the "umno controlled bn" lest he gets into trouble.
