Nomination for the Bagan Pinang By Election is closed and it is going to be a straight fight between Mohd Isa Samad (Umno) and Zulkefly Mohd Omar (PAS).

Will it be a clean fight, the answer is a definite NO going by past experiences. The EC is as dirty as umno, the pdrm is no different, just waiting near ceramahs to ensure that such names as Teoh Beng Hock, Kunan, Altantuya and the "cow head", Kerismuddin press conference videos are not highlighted.

If umno can name a tainted candidate who was convicted of corruptions by umno itself, indicates that corruption is well accepted and tolerated by Najib's Government.

The Malaysian Insider just reported that Racist books distributed in Bagan Pinang, will the police be able to nap those people behind this action and who do you think distribute it? Your guess is as good as mind. PAS can always use these racist books to hit back in their ceramahs.

Although the chances of PAS/PR winning is very slim, party members are not giving up hope. Reading from various blogs and FB indicates very strong sentiments that PAS/PR may just snatch the trophy from umno. Whatever it is, the voters at Bagan Pinang will decide the winner after they have listen to the ceramahs for the next eight days before polling on the 11th Oct.

At the moment umno is still the favorite to win. With eight days to go, the tide may change.
