We are very thankful to Idris Jala honesty for telling us that Malaysia will be bankrupt within 9 years if subsidies are not cut. In a way, he is telling us that the Government is having financial problem.

Why is it that every time the country faces economy or financial crisis, the rakyat will be the first line of defence to be scarified to save the Government.

We never get to hear from our leaders that they will tighten their own belt first, like giving up their luxurious lifestyle, pay cut and stop their globe trotting unless it is a necessity.

The worst is the PM and his so call "First Lady" enormous spending just to prop up their images. Having to spend millions for a visit to rub shoulder with President Obama, and million spent to advertise the PM "First Lady" in Washington. Getting celebrities to grace unnecessary functions are just wasteful expenses.

My question to Idris Jala is, why he did not call for the PM, "First Lady" and other leaders to set a good example by being more prudent in using the public fund?

  1. I agree.......the people on power should first spend sparingly....

  2. Idris is cari makan, so cannot offend his boss, otherwise kena goreng sotong, which will be very painful and shameful.

Idris is a Christian, and an "outsider" (Sarawakian), so must behave like a good boy while in KL. Don't expect him him to act independently. He is now in the middle of nowhere. It is better for him to join the opposition party, and to go back and help the poor people of Sabah and Sarawak.

  3. Now is the golden opportunity for East Malaysians to join forces and exercise their rights and freedom . Get rid of those good-for-nothing ministers who only care of their pockets and neglect the people and deprived them of their basic needs. These stooges of BN should be written off. Change to PR!

  4. Should it be 'Leadership By Example' or 'What is mine is mine, what is yours is mine'??
