There is not a single day that passes by without our "smart' Ministers telling us how smart they are.

Yesterday we had the de facto law minister hitting at Dr Pornthip Rojanasunand for being a liar and that she lied in the inquest.

Today we have the Home Minister and Attorney-General guaranteeing the safety and protection for Dr Pornthip Rojanasunand.

This is what Hishammuddin told reporters in Parliament today:

“We will guarantee the safety of everybody, not only Malaysians but also non-Malaysians and tourists. It is our duty to protect their security".

And the Attorney-General added that he would personally ensure that the Malaysian authorities protected her welfare for the duration of her stay.

I just wanted to know what kind of guarantee and the Malaysian authorities protection Hishammuddin and the Attorney-General were talking about. Are the guarantee and protection attached with any condition.

Since, with the Home Ministry guaranteeing the safety of everybody, not only Malaysians but also non-Malaysians and tourists and the Attorney-General's protection, how come Altantuya was shot twice and blasted to pieces with c4 not by any gangsters or robbers but by the police force which is under the Home Ministry while the AG is reluctant to call for further investigation on the motive.

So can I conclude that Dr Pornthip Rojanasunand must testified at the inquest of Teoh Beng Hock's death according to what the Home ministry and Attorney-General wanted it to be or else the guarantee of safety and protection can be rescinded?

Another smart pronouncement by the DPM Muhyiddin Yassin that the interfaith panel is just a 'small fry'. I am just lost for words and can only remark that the PM is, but a small fry while the DPM is a big fry.

I am just astounded by what the DPM has said about the inter-faith panel in the PM's department. So, the panel was set up willingly to be just a "small fry" with no sincerity at all to improve understanding and tolerence among the people with different religions. And to "rub salt into the wound" the government admits that it knew very well that the panel wil not serve any purpose and is absolutely useless! Time and again, the BN government's '1Malaysia' propoganda seems nothing but a joke. With such insincerity and gimmicks, I do not think that it will ever be able to fully regain the trust and respect of the Chinese and Indians. I am now convinced that the National Unity and Integration Department itslef (which oversees the inter-faith panel) is a complete farce and was also set up to be just another "small fry". If Koh Tsu Koon has any dignity at all, he should throw away his ministership in the PM's department without second thought and "save" his face.

Small fry ,small role and no powers.Then why set up in the first place headed by senior politician ?Muhiyddin ,who are you trying to please, PERKASA? ONE MALAYSIA ,eye wash , interfaith council small fry, Is there anything serious that the government got in mind to do? Government always has a stand that religion is a serious and sensitive matter that needs careful deliberation thus the need for a interfaith council.What you are now saying is contrary to your own gov's stand.

So.... DPM is saying, the interfaith thinggy is nothing.. but just a show to placate Malaysians that they are indeed after the heart of 1Malaysia... oh how stupid the DPM is... or he is merely sabotaging Jibby's plan with grand plans of his own to sit in the PM's seat?

Why may I ask then for the inter faith to be set up if its going to be toothless committee ? just to gain votes from the non muslims. that's why we don't trust the idiots in UMNO led BN and this include this superior malay who claimed to be malay first. i think the ulu selangor voters must take note of this and return Pakatan with a greater majority.
