Datuk Mohd Shukri Abdull, 49, has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Commissioner (Operations) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and told reporters that he would be focusing on high profile cases as well as those that had gained public interest. Read my posting here.

True to his word he now takes action on a "High Profile" corruption case:

(New Straits Times ) - The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has directed its officers to gather more evidence into an allegation of abuse of power by the Kelantan Menteri Besar Incorporated (PMBK) over a purchase of six cakes valued about RM3,900.

Wait a minute, did I see or read something wrong here, RM3,900 worth of cakes, a "High Profile" corruption case?

Maybe we misinterpreted what he meant by "High Profile", he may meant it to be "High Profile Political Personality" and the MB of Kelantan is really a High Profile Politician.

What about the x-MB multi million ringgit corruption charges? He is no longer in the league of the "High Profile" because he no longer is the MB.

OK, what about the High Profile cases involving the sub sub something 500 million ringgit commission, PKFZ or the illegal transfer of money overseas?

They are also not in the league of "High Profile" but belongs to the "High High Profile" status which cannot be touched.

In Malaysia Boleh, we need to really understand each and every word what our leaders are talking about. From 1Malaysia, KPI to NKRA, many are still scratching their heads to its meaning. So far nothing has yet to come out from all these so call action plans. Whatever it is, no full explanation is given and they are just happy about it to let the people speculate and define them on their own.
