Bersih 2.0 Peaceful Rally: Najib Government should allow it, why so afraid

We have seen and heard PM Najib calling for transformation with his '1Malaysia, People First Performance Now" rhetoric everyday via his controlled news media and TV stations.

In addition to these, he has been globe-trotting around the world to preach what other countries have already been practicing except his own backyard. Funny isn't it?

Other countries are moving forward with leaders being elected democratically through clean & fair elections. Many have truly transformed their countries by walking their talks.

But in Malaysia, its leaders are talking about transforming the nation backwards and into the stone age.

A simple peaceful rally calling for a clean and fair election can be termed as illegal, not our culture, overthrowing the government and all sorts of degrading words from a government that pronounce the theme "People First Performance Now". Just to make matter worst their outsourcing NGOs were given the silence blessing to counter bersih2.0 peaceful rally calling for a clean and fair election.

Why is the umno government so afraid of this bersih 2.0 peaceful rally calling for a clean and fair election? Is it because the election is truly dirty and unfair?

If it is not, why not counter and show proof that all elections carried out by the EC were clean and fair. Rebut point by point what bersih had claimed, simple as that.

Until the umno government can provide answers to charges of the EC being holding unfair and dirty elections I will continue to support bersih calls and will be going to KL for a shopping spree on the 9th July 2011. Do join me if you are free.
