Najib is now force to tell lies in order to save umno from losing in this by-election.

By Carolyn Hong, The Straits Times

MALAYSIAN Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak sought to reassure Chinese voters here that the government is not discriminatory after a survey showed that the Chinese vote in Kuala Terengganu may have tilted in favour of the opposition.

'I hope that all will support the Barisan Nasional because what we have achieved today is the result of the BN's policies. Our policies are fair,' he said yesterday ahead of the Kuala Terengganu by-election on Saturday. Read full report at Malaysia Today.

He is good in disguising his lies, he dare not say "EQUAL" instead he uses "FAIR". What is the different?

EQUAL means "Neither Inferior Nor Superior"

FAIR means "Considerable, Satisfactory"

You see the difference.

When you use the word EQUAL, it means that there is no such things as ketuanan and NEP.

When you use the word FAIR, it means you are also treated well but there is always a gap that other can be more well treated than you because of certain factors. You have to be satisfied that you are being considered irrespective whether others are getting more than you and whether you like it or not.

Is Najib/umno policies being fair as he claimed it to be. I abstract a few comments from Malaysia Today to enlighten your dull day.

When one or two of your people misspeak, it was not your policy. Then why don't you put them under ISA? If and when the opposition misspeak, your dogs will jump the gun very fast and put them under ISA. IS THAT YOUR POLICY??IS THAT BN POLICY? Such a matured man and also a matured party that already ruled the country for 52 years yet acting like a child. You can remain a child for as long as you like, BUT we are NOT, understand? So, now let's have a free n fair election and see whether the people of Trengganu will buy that policy of yours.

Bull Shit! I am a Chinese and my son scored 5A’s in STPM but was denied by BN Government to do medicine in local U. You said that is fair?

Fair my foot, your kids attend International school but our kids have to attend Sekolah kebangsaan ! Lets all attend International schools then we talk about fairness.

True, what we achieve today is of BN policies. Truth is, without BN, we could have achieved much more given our resource, talent, our strategic location and a optimal population base. We've squander tens of billions through corruption and NEP, and more through incompetent management and cronynism. We could have been a country with at least USD15,000 per capita income, 0% poverty and a developed country by now.

Look, give all the jobs and contracts and scholarships to the non malays and let us tell the malays that we are fair to them!

" Mr Najib also clarified that some of the statements made by party leaders are not official party policies."

Sometimes, it is not us, it is not our policies. One or two people may misspeak, but it is not our policy. Our policy has never been extreme,' he said.

I am amazed he could make such a statement with a straight face. For someone who personally threatened to bathe a keris with Chinese blood and kept mum when UMNO members made all sorts of threats against the non Malays at their General Assembly, these are not "misspeak" but insitutionalized racist statements.

And when UMNO leaders the likes of Ahmad Ismail and Khir Toyo made those racist comments, the deafening silence and refusal of the top UMNO leaders to reprimand and correct them until pressured to do so speaks volumes and confirms it is UMNO/BN policy to be racist. And how do you explain the double standard in the arrest of the Sin Chew reporter and Teresa Kok under the ISA when their UMNO accusers who told lies deliberately are let off scot free?

KT Voters, is this the type of PM that you want, that can twist and turn his lies to get your vote? You have to start somewhere to ensure that this country will not go down the drain by all these dishonest and incapable leaders including the KT MP you are about to vote. You can vote out umno in this KT by-election and the rest will follow by the next GE to topple umno/bn.

KT By Election: Ceramah Online Series 16 - Sabotage Within Umno

Malaysiakini KT news. Not much news by Malaysiakini today on the KT by-election.

When one is confident of completing a task, one will follow right through all the way without hesitation or changing gear along the way. Only when you have no confident at all to finish a task that you need to keep on changing the method or means.

Umno is now pressing the panic button, knowing that by bringing in and promising millions of ringgit cannot work to win this by-election, they have to change gear.

"umno New posters with the words "Pas Kluk Klek" have been put up across town here, in an effort to label the PR component member a "flip-flop" party."

Yes, they are very desperate but still this new poster "PAS Kluk Klek" may not work in their favor or is there some kind of sabotage by someone inside umno.

Everyone in Malaysia and the worldwide audience know that umno president who is also the PM is well known for his flip flop decisions. Is umno trying to remind the voters that umno, itself is Kluk Klek but trying to pin this so call flip flop onto PAS. The pot is calling the kettle black, that is umno but sadly the voters have yet to really see any kind of flip flop by PAS as compared to umno and its president.

KT Voters, umno is trying very hard to tell you all, that, if you rob someone you can always defend yourself by reporting that you are being robbed instead. Is it not funny. umno is losing ground and they will try anything and everything to get your vote, so be very careful and make sure that you do not vote in such character to strengthen "umno Kluk Klek" further.

I have been searching through YouTube for the song 'Money Money Money' by ABBA and you know what, the link of the song is there but when you click on it another song is played and not 'Money Money Money'. Then you look at the ticker that highlight this "This video is not available in your country". Any reason for this song to be banned in this country? All because it talks about MONEY?. Someone must be ashamed to be linked to MONEY because of you know what.

Yes, I am predicting the sure win of umno in this KT by-election and it is because of MONEY. Who in the right mind does not love MONEY especially when it comes in this most difficult time.

MONEY can do a lot of things including the sure win in by-elections. Lets take a look at the offer by umno to KT voters thus far:

The Star reported that the Terengganu state government will be giving 25000 laptops for free to all year 5 students by April next year. After that, a factory will be set up to manufacture 10000 units of laptops per month which are to be distributed to students in year 1, 2, 3 and 4. The first batch of 25000 laptops will cost the state government RM30 million.

A sum of RM2.7 million was distributed to 9000 needy Chinese folks on January 5th, a day before nomination day. This apparently is an annual event but in any other year, this handout would be made a week before or after the Chinese New Year.

RM3.3 million was pledged by the Menteri Besar for the construction of a hall for the Chinese community in Bukit Kecil, with the ground breaking ceremony slated for Jan 13.

The state government further approved RM2.8 million for the refurbishing of the sole Chinese school in Kuala Terengganu, SJK (C) Chung Hwa Wei Sin. The school's brass band will receive another RM200,000.

RM110,000 was allocated to 40 Chinese religious organisations.*

The state MCA has obtained federal allocation worth RM205,000 for two temples while Education Minister Hishamuddin Hussien on Jan 5 announced a RM2,926,000 allocation for 10 Chinese schools in the state.

Source: Malaysiakini report

Dr Azly Rahman in his blog has in the meanwhile cited a report in the New Straits Times that the state government had also promised to replace the zinc roofs houses of poor families and grant 4ha of land to anyone who wants to plant padi.

On 10th January, Malaysiakini reported that the Federal Government had awarded RM15.8 million worth of small infrastructural projects to 583 Terengganu based class-F contractors through a computerised ‘bidding’ system.

Source ARTiculations

I am sure glad for the people of Kuala Trengganu to be able to receive such a massive allocations by the Federal Government, all within such a short time frame of two weeks. Of course these funds are not because of the by-election, they are already in umno budget planning months ago and truthfully it is not corruption to entice the voters, many will argued, especially umno.

But my advise to KT voters is, take whatever is given physically to you now and just forget about the other promises as you must have learn by now, these are just promises and promises are meant to be broken. Those contracts given out now does not really help you in any way and I am quite sure that these Class F contractors will be having a tough time to get payments for work done or some may even be terminated after the by election.

KT Voters, the decision is yours to make. Do you want progress to be continuous throughout your life time or a one time affair where all kinds of promises are made during by-election only, and this may not even happen after the by-election.

A relevant issue by Raja Petra which I reproduce the title for you to make your desicion easier.

So, whom can we trust? A party that respects and will comply to the Federal Constitution of Malaysia or one that violates the Constitution every step of the way? That is the fundamental issue in the Kuala Terengganu by-election. Read the full text here.

KT By Election: Ceramah Online Series 13 - The Acts Of A Loser

Malaysiakini has yet to report this news. Will Malaysiakini reports about this order by the MB.
Please click HOME to read the other Ceramah Online series.

DAP operations centre closes down

The DAP bilek gerakan (operations centre) in Kampong China, Kuala Terengganu, was ordered to close by the state government. DAP was told that the order came from the Terengganu Menteri Besar.

The clear act of intimidation by the loser.

Soon after that a police patrol car arrived and the police officer demanded Raja Petra Kamarudin’s identity card. Raja Petra refused to hand over his identity card and demanded to know why they wanted it. The police officer replied that it was an order ‘from the top’.

Raja Petra still refused to comply and asked that the superior officer ‘from the top’ come there himself if he wanted his identity card. The police officer then went back to the patrol car to radio his superior officer.

Raja Petra followed the police officer to the patrol car and told them that he did not have his identity card with him and that they can arrest him if they wanted to. The police officers just drove off without any further action.

KT Voters, do you want to see this country turn into a police state? The police are suppose to be there to maintain law and order and not to take order from umno and involve themselves politically. You can now see clearly how umno can do to people who are opposing their wrong doing. Send them out this coming 17th Jan 2009.
