Malaysia is full of archaic laws which the umno controlled government deem necessary to maintain national security, but to the general public view, they need it more to control and remain in power.

Take the Internal Security Act (ISA) for example. The origin of the act is to fight and contain the communists in the sixties and later expanded to such a wide scope that one man, i.e the home minister can have the absolute unlimited power to arrest anyone under the ISA. I copied a paragraph which is better described from Art Harun's blog Articulations.

It applies to whatever and whomsoever the Home Minister feels is a threat to national security. Even national security is not defined. History would show that someone who had not done anything could be deemed a threat to national security under the ISA. Remember Teresa Kok? History would also show that the definition is so lax so much so that a woman could be arrested under the ISA to protect her own safety.

With the Police Act running side by side, all attempts by the public to repeal the ISA by holding peaceful rallies were met with brute force.

Does umno najib who is the PM really cares about you and me? By throwing a few tidbits here and there, showing his face on a preplanned meet the people sections during which he slammed the oppositions, which to him is not politicking but when the oppositions do likewise, its politicking. He called upon the people not to attend rallies and big gathering due to H1N1 as the reason but he himself is holding huge gatherings, the latest at Batu caves.

Flip flop after flip flop, inconsistent statements after inconsistent statements released by umno leaders to try and beat each other for the best KPI. The umno owned media, not to be left behind are churning out piece after piece of racist and provocative articles to please it's master, umno najib. Does umno najib really cares about you and me, dream on, he could not even bother if you are dead or alive, just like Teoh Beng Hock, Kunan, Guna, over the thousands who are now dead under custody and not forgetting the near twenty deaths of the NS trainees.

The latest humor from umno najib's brainless ministers:

The parents of SMK Seri Hartamas students in Kuala Lumpur were locked out of the school yesterday when the school’s Parent-Teacher Association wanted to hold a properly-convened extraordinary general meeting to retain the PPSMI policy on the teaching of of science and mathematics in English in their school in 2012.

By Lester Kong, The Star

The Government confirmed it has called for a tender for an Internet filtering system, but said it was only to block pornography.

Information, Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said that the system was to reduce “Malaysian children’s exposure to online pornography.”

“We will attempt to put in this filtering system because the safety of our children from pornography cannot be compromised,” he told a press conference Friday.

Now, we come to the title of this post:

Malaysia To Censor Malaysian Females Next??

The Malaysian Government is always famous for locking you out (remember the Perak power grab) ban and censor anything that they cannot handle, resolve or face the truth and the rakyat.

The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak has announced the reduction of the crime rate on the streets by 20 per cent in 2010 as one of the KPIs (key performance indicators) of the six National Key Results Areas (NKRA).

In order to meet the 20% target, I am sure some good ideas will be forthcoming from the home minister to fight the crime on the streets.

Let us take a look at the crimes in detail. Snatch thefts must be among the top followed by rapes and murders. Snatch theft victims are mostly female and needless to say, the victims of rape are largely female as well. Female can be the cause of murder cases due to jealousy between boyfriends, wife committing adultery and found out by husband and many other problems involving females.

The government cannot stop the increase of crime rates over the past ten years and what makes them think that they can now reduced the crime rate unless they start to lock, ban or censor something.

Since Malaysian females can be considered a major factor in causing all these crimes, the home minister should consider barring all females from coming out. They should stay at home at all times to take care of the children, parents, cooking and all the household works. This is to complement their eagerness to maintain archaic laws and we have one for them to keep, "Women in ancient China were barred from leaving their homes." This tradition was continued by the Malaysian Chinese females up till the late fifties.

Wa Lah, crime rate reduced by 20% or may even touch the 50% mark. What say you, home minister, dare to ban or censor Malaysian females by locking them up at home in order to reduce the crime rate?

Najib, if you want the people to support you, just tell us what you want truthfully. You keep on telling the oppositions not to play politics but what we see everyday is umno bn taking the lead in politicking.

It is not shameful to tell us your desire, as every human has the desire for certain things. How one achieve his/her desire must be according to the law of the land and not by unscrupulous means.

On the foresight, you are spending millions of ringgit promoting your idealism of "1Malaysia, People First Performance Now" which you have till today yet to explain in details exactly what it meant. Many just like me will interpret it as "All Malaysians Are Equal, The Welfare Of The People Must Be Attended To First, All The Institutions Must Perform Their Duties Fairly, With Honesty And Integrity".

But on the hindsight, your dpm, ministers and your media are interpreting it as Malay First, the Malaysian Institutions are now Malay Institutions and your media are churning out piece after piece of racist and provocative articles. You did not raise one single voice to reprimand them and with your dpm supporting them, you totally lost your voice.

It is so obvious that the way macc keep on attacking at Pakatan Rakyat is to ensure their fall in the States that they govern. Please do not try to deny that. Your latest statement that macc is fair just because they are investigating one of the adun from Trengganu is so farce that nobody believe a word that you said. The macc is so reluctant to pursue the more revealing cases of corruptions, Khir Toyo, PKFZ and many top leaders that their reports must be gathering dust by now.

Just like any other death under custody, the public have no confidence at all that justice will be carry out on the death of Teoh Beng Hock. This case, just like any other cases will see the NFA stamp on the file very soon after the inquest.

Why want to create upheaval and tension among the people just to get what you want. Peaceful rallies were turned chaotic not by the protesters but by your pdrm and fru and you conveniently blame the protesters and the opposition leaders for the chaotic situations.

By trying to turn everything into a racial issue by umno and it's media, it will have a very big repercussion on you and your leadership.

If you want my support and vote, come clean and tell us exactly what you want, don't be shy. Let me start it for you since most likely you will not be telling us.

Umno must remain in power by whatever means.

I want to claim back the lost States by hook or by crook, it does not matter.

I want power, I love power.

I want money, I love money.

I want to see the total destruction of Pakatan Rakyat.

Divide and rule is the only way to remain in power.

I can give leeway to the non malay on my terms but they have no rights to ask for anything to ensure my supporters are happy.

My silence on the racist and provocative tone of my supporters mean consent given.

You can continue with the list if you have more.

For the sake of the country, for the sake of the rakyat, for the sake of umno bn just come clean and be sincere. Stop all the cosmetic changes just to improve your popularity, it will not last long.

I will be the first to support and vote for bn if you can perform your duty as a true leader of this country with integrity and honesty.
Act like a man, act like a true leader, with your power and will to make real changes. Clean up the institutions and ensure that they perform their duties with fairness, integrity and honesty. Rope in all those corrupt leaders of yours without fear or favor and open yourself for full investigations on any claim of misdeeds. If you have done nothing wrong, you have nothing to be afraid off.

Najib, Be Sincere Just Tell Us Truthfully What You Want.

The next day Star report on the front page:
"Street protest senseless move, says Prime Minister"
but if I am the PR(Public Relation) for the PM, this heading will be more appropriate:

"Keeping The ISA Is A Senseless Move"

There were few reports on the group marching from Central Market and the National Mosque. I was at the Central Market around 12:30pm and already the police and their trucks were already there plus a group of reporters. Not a big crowd, people walking here and there going on with their business. My thought was that there ain't going to be any rally after all.

Suddenly, a crowd gathered around the police truck and this was what happened. The arrest spree had begun. Within half an hour over 30 people were arrested.

The first group, 4 females and one male were arrested.

I am not local, so I cannot provide the names of the roads where I am at as I joined in the march.

At exactly 2:00pm I started to see people coming in groups walking towards the Pos office building.

This group coming out from the Central Market areas was only about 200 odd people. As we reach the main road, I saw a large group of people already walking towards Dartaran Merdeka. They are from the National Mosque area.

These were waiting for us besides the Selangor Club.

These group estimated at between 5,000 to 8,000 people did not realized that they were walking into a trap.

As we reach the Selangor Club, we were suddenly hit by salvos of tear gas, landing right into the groups. Everyone panic and started to run helter skelter. The tear gas canisters kept dropping down from the sky and I was overwhelmed by the gas. I could not open my eyes, my face burning and I had to squad beside the roadside parapet to overcome the stinging gas barring me from taking any further shots of the evil actions by the najib regime.

Feeling not satisfied with the tear gas, they move in their water canon and started to spray the chemically laced water onto the crowd. I was lucky, they miss me a couple of meters away but the fume itself causes some difficulty in breathing.

After about fifteen minutes they stop their actions and the people started to regrouped. They cannot move forward and they have to go back the way that we came not realizing that by now the police and fru had also block the road preventing them from going back the way that they came. They were trapped, the police move in on all sides preventing anyone from leaving the trap zone. I was slow in joining the group and seeing what the police were trying to do I took refuge at Dartaran Merdeka.

The water canon truck were seen moving towards the crowd and the fru getting ready to fire the tear gas. Then the "slaughter" begins. They keep on firing the tear gas and water jet the trapped people. These continues and you can see the people trying to break away but the police and fru keep pushing them back into the trap zone.

After half an hour they stopped, they stopped because they ran out of tear gas and the chemically laced water canon. The people then find ways to get out of the trap zone. During the inhumane attack an ambulance was seen entering the trap zone.

Half an hour later a helicopter landed at the dartaran merdeka field bringing in more tear gas canisters and chemical for the water canon. Luckily, most of the people had escaped from the trap zone. I overheard one of the fru leader command his subordinates to load up the weapons and get ready to move on to Sogo.

As I gathered back my strength and breathing normally, I started to walk back. Along the way, I can see those people that had been attacked and their sufferings. Other brave ones are heading towards Sogo where the non provoked attack by the fru and police had yet to end.

In conclusion, from my observation of the event live, the police had already put in place their plans. First, they must ensure that the crowds do not reach the Istana. Second, to prevent all the groups from merging together. Third, trap the people and bombard them with tear gas and spray chemically laced water onto them. Fourth, catch as many people as possible and fifth push the blame of what had happened onto the leaders of the oppositions.

One blogger had used mathematical calculations to estimate that over 100,000 people attended the Anti ISA peaceful rally. Go here for more details.

Everyone is blogging and talking more about the Anti ISA rally with protesters being "slaughtered" with tear gas and sprayed with chemically laced water jet. I went down to KL to kill two birds with one stone. I attended the PKR sponsored forum "Najib's 100 Days" on Friday and attend the Anti ISA peaceful rally on Saturday.

I will blog about the Anti ISA peaceful rally later but let me give you a brief on one particular speech by Selangor Speaker YB Teng Chang Kim which I want to share with you all.

umno bn is saying that Pakatan Rakyat is breaking up....SO WHAT

umno bn is telling the people that PR is bickering among themselves....SO WHAT

umno bn keeps on stressing that PR is quarrelling and fighting among themselves....SO WHAT

There are so many bad things happening within PR says umno bn....SO WHAT

The above mentioned happen to every family but the best thing with PR after all these is that they continue to make love.

PR is still making love despite all the problems in the hope to produce good and capable offspring.

There are many other speakers, each having their comments on "najib's 100 days" but I find that the section of the speech by Speaker YB Teng Chang Kim above is a good one.
