Najib, what kind of ministers are you grooming and are they capable leaders to assist you in running this injured country?

We want the truth, firm and decisive decisions and not flip flopping, misquoted type of statements.

Is BTN courses, after all these years, proofs to be beneficial to the country and are meant to instill patriotism in the participants as claim by the government, or is it used to maintain Malay support for Umno through cultivating racial hatred and concepts like “Ketuanan Melayu” (Malay supremacy) as reported by the oppositions and testimonials by former attendees.

The following reports indicated that your ministers are defending the BTN courses because it instill patriotism, nationalism, in line with the 1Malaysia concept, no racial content, inculcate positive values and not a political indoctrination.

If the BTN courses are that positive why then your Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz announced today that the Cabinet has agreed to revamp the Biro Tata Negara (BTN) following rising pressure to shut down the programme, which has been called a tool to spread racist propaganda.

Please tell us truthfully, which is which, BTN courses are good or bad.

Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil said the patriotic spirit instilled in the Biro Tata Negara (BTN) course was for all and not just for federal government supporters.

Shahrizat said it was not justified to be apprehensive of the content of the BTN course as the people loved the 1 Malaysia concept.

Shahrizat said based on her experience when attending the BTN course there was no racial content.

“The Selangor state government is just making a big issue. I have attended the course and it is all about positive thinking, patriotism and nothing to do with racialism,” she told reporters. Full story here.

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin defended the controversial Biro Tata Negara (BTN) courses today as a form of nationalism in line with the 1 Malaysia concept despite growing criticisms of racism and political indoctrination.

“There are no ulterior motives. These courses are well intended,” Muhyiddin said. Read full story here.

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Ahmad Maslan said. “The BTN is not the agency some quarters made it out to be. The BTN is to instil patriotism and has received the ISO 9000 certification from Sirim. It has a well-structured course,” he told reporters after receiving 200 Umno membership application forms here today.

He said that as the deputy minister in charge of the BTN, he would ensure that the courses would go on as they were in line with the 1Malaysia concept and had no racist elements.

Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Mukhriz Tun Mahathir described the decision by the Selangor government as inappropriate. He said that the BTN courses were neither politically-motivated nor racially-motivated.

Mukhriz said BTN courses were to inculcate positive values and not a political indoctrination as claimed by critics. Read full story here.

Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz announced today that the Cabinet has agreed to revamp the Biro Tata Negara (BTN) following rising pressure to shut down the programme, which has been called a tool to spread racist propaganda.

The Minister in the Prime Minister Department disclosed that the Chief Secretary to the Government has been instructed to oversee BTN’s revamp

Nazri, speaking to reporters in Parliament lobby, said the recent Cabinet meeting saw it necessary to do away with BTN co-curriculum which government leaders, including the prime minister, saw was racially divisive and destructive. Read full story here.

I read two postings at Free Malaysia Today here, and here that prompted me to put up this posting.

I am very disturbed at what the NUJM president Norila Daud said:

Norila said the NUJM hoped that all quarters in Pakatan Rakyat would be more sensitive, adopt a professional attitude and understand the job of journalists who conveyed news to the people who had voted them into power.

“NUJM once again stresses that no one can stop journalists from covering government matters which are linked to the welfare of the people,” she said.

She said Malaysia was a democratic country and the media had a role to report whatever the government did for the people.

My questions to Norila, does the journalists in Malaysia really understand their job? Are they really the one who convey the news to the people or is it their media bosses? Does the journalists really understand why they are being stop from covering an event?

I want to remind Norila that Malaysia is a democratic country by name ONLY, especially the media.

The journalists/reporters responsibilities do not end after they submitted their reports for publication. They must read what is published the next day and verify that the published news are true and correct as what they had reported. Are there any twist or spin to their reports or total black out of damaging news and when they are told what they had reported are incorrect or it is one sided, do they insist their publishers that the right of reply must be allowed?

Why are journalists/reporters being stopped from covering, it is not personal against the journalists/reporters but the badge that they wear that represent the media. And why is it so, the journalists/reporters themselves should know why, because they allow their bosses to twist and spin or black out damaging news on their reports and dare not confront and insist that their reports which are true and fair must not be distorted to their bosses whim and fancy. All because of the rice bowl and if that is the case, then can we recognised them as being professional with good journalism ethics and practice in their field of work to ensure only the truth and fair reporting are being published plus no BLACK OUT?

My request to NUJM is to get into the heart of the real problem of Malaysia MSM and not cry over the problems that are perpetuated from your so called "DEMOCRATIC" country that controlled the MSM. Fight to your "death" to have a FREE MSM and I can assured you that the problem of stopping journalists/reporters from covering any event will be the thing of the past.

and what YL Chong aka Desiderata wrote:

Most journalists that I know — and I have had more than two decades of newsroom labour — work hard for a living, with an initial idealistic commitment to the good journalism ethics and practice. They, which include my two charges at the moment just three weeks old, deserve a certain degree of respect as they strive to embrace and practise good journalism.

Good journalism ethics and practice come with sacrifice. Here we are talking about the controlled MSM. The Rock and the Dah, we know who they are, don't we. Can they face the mirror and ask themselves, "AM I A JOURNALIST WITH ETHICS, INTEGRITY PROVIDING A TRUE AND FAIR REPORTS"? I have no answer for that, only they themselves and GOD knows.

If journalists/reporters are working hard for a living by bending and looking the other way should their reports are being distorted, twisted and spin by their bosses, can we still call these type of reports as good journalism ethics and practice?

To my new found friend, YL Chong, I have no problem with your online news reporting just trying to stress a point to those who try to look at the wrong side of things. We are not "shooting the messenger" as claimed but the messengers are being shot at by their own media bosses.

Silence Is Golden or Silence Means Consent

This is not a principle accepted in modern English law. However, Sir Thomas More (1478-1535) is said to have riposted with the Latin maxim when asked at his trial why he kept silent when asked to acknowledge the King's supremacy over the Church. Cf. L. qui tacet consentire videtur, he who is silent seems to consent.

Oo [one] maner of consent is, whanne a man is stille and tellith not.
[c 1380 Wyclif Select English Works (1871) III. 349]
From Answer.com.

Two things come to mind when you started to wonder why the complete silence and total MSM black out of PI Bala revelation.

1) As quoted above from answer.com, the guilty party consented that the revelation by PI Bala are the truth. The guilty party will keep silence and with the power and money that he control, he can sit still, wait and hope that it will slowly disappear.

Or

2) The guilty party is keeping silence for now, while he plot and plan to counter back with full force. He has the full control of all the institutions including the MSM. When he strikes back, there will be no mercy whatsoever. He will make sure that the whole saga on the Altantuya murder will be put to rest once and for all. Even bystanders will not be spared and everything linking to Altantuya, just like the missing immigration record, will be totally wiped clean and untraceable.

Finally we have the truth and the real meaning of Najib's "1Malaysia". We read the news report that Muhyiddin Yassin defended the controversial Biro Tata Negara (BTN) courses today as a form of nationalism in line with the 1 Malaysia concept despite growing criticisms of racism and political indoctrination.

One question though, why start the rhetoric of "1Malaysia" when all these years the BTN courses are already a form of nationalism in line with the 1 Malaysia concept, as what the DPM claimed. Shouldn't it be functioning already in bringing the people of all races forging a common Malaysian consciousness and identity, transcending their ethnic, religious, cultural and linguistic differences.

But, Najib does not think so, that is the reason why he came out with the slogan of "1Malaysia". He saw that after 52 years, the nation building is a total failure and getting even worst. This is what I think about Najib and his "1Malaysia" slogan unless he is just creating a superficial connotation of public welfare while trying to fish for votes.

We have to wait for Najib's response to the real intention of the BTN courses. Does he agree with what his DPM claimed, if he does, then we are in big trouble because the breaking news from those who had attended these BTN courses totally disagreed with what the DPM claimed it to be and that is "a form of nationalism in line with the 1 Malaysia concept".

While we wait to hear what the PM has to say, please read from those who had attended these BTN courses have to say.

‘BTN taught me the Chinese are the Jews of Asia’
In the hall, students were asked to turn off their mobile phones.

During the lectures, questions were planted among the audience and the students were advised not ask raise any questions.

One speaker began with the history of Malaysia and how much the country had gone through, always emphasising the May 13 riots.

He stressed the point of how much the Malays had sacrificed and how the community should be united especially from outside threat — the Chinese community.

He said that the Chinese community were “the Jews of Asia” and were just itching to take over when Malays were disunited and broken.

The speaker also revealed a greater Chinese conspiracy where the Chinese Malaysians were working together with Singapore to topple the Malay government.

This is what YB Lim Kit Siang said at his blog:
Close down Biro Tata Negara if Najib is serious, sincere and genuine about the 1Malaysia concept.

This is what BTN is all about.
See these video clips. These ‘patriotic songs’ were created by people such as Nordin Kardi of BTN. Note the lyrics that are meant to inflame the Malays at their ‘loss’ of their country to the non-Malays. Any wonder why the Malays hate and distrust the non-Malays after 52 years of indoctrination and brainwashing by Umno?
See video clips here.

It’s more than just political.
By the time the course ends the Malays would understand that the non-Malays are the enemy and that Umno is the only protection they have against the Chinese, Indians and ‘others’. This is what BTN is all about.
Read the thoughts of Raja Petra Kamarudin(RPK) about BTN here.

Below are a few comments from readers who had attended these courses abstracted from various online news report, we do not expect these to be reported by the MSM, do we?.

'I have attended this BTN course. It is a brainwashing session where they tell us that our country will be destroyed if we don't support BN. Learning about '1Malaysia', nationalism and unity'? My foot.'

Gblk7277:
I have attended this BTN course. Yes, it is a brainwashing session where they were telling us that the other races must get a lesser amount of 'durian' because we are the 'pendatang' and we had agreed to accept a lesser amount.

Therefore we could not question anything, just shut up and eat the 'durian' you get or go back to China or India. It's very much politically biased and they were showing recordings of the Bersih and Hindraf rallies saying chaos will take place if we don't support BN.

And that our country will be destroyed. 'Learning about 1Malaysia, about nationalism and unity'? My foot.

Camverra Jose Maliamauv:
In the year 2000, during my first year at Universiti Teknologi Petronas, I was one of those selected to attend the Kem Bina Negara. We were sent to an army camp in Kedah.

Out of all the lectures and physical activities etc, I will always remember two main things. The first was a lecture and discussion during which the instructor concluded at the end that non- Malays should not question the special rights and privileges of the Malays and that we should just work harder to move up.

And secondly, during another lecture, one of the 'threats to national security' that were highlighted was 'parti politik baru' (a coincidence that this was the year after 1999?).

Jawahar Hassan:
Everybody who attend BTN camps knew the exact nature of the BTN courses during which you are required to surrender all the handphones and recording devices to the person in charge. What's the reason behind this? Why such a rule? Is there anything to hide?
Read more here.

by LOH YENG MENG
wahpunbeitahan my daughter told me that she attended similar brain-washing camp not long ago. Handphones not allowed, racist lecture and other races (pendatang) other than Malays are urged to just accept what they have, do not ask for more. Luckily chinese and Indians are hard-working by nature. So you guess I believe my daughter more or the BN more ? Well, keep on lying ... just be prepared to pack your bag and go in the next election. We do not need governement like this.

by Suhakam
I had attended BTN as a requirement before going for my postgraduate study. All they talk is about how great BN is and no other political party can bring peace to the country. The worst thing is they justify giving contracts to BN cronies even if they are not capable to do the job. BTN is a waste of tax payer money.

Many attendees of such courses have indicated that they felt humiliated, traumatic and totally disillusioned after attending such courses. We should inculcate positive values and now sow hatred among the various communities. If Bend doesnt change, change will come to you and God bless Malaysia!

Tak yah nak bohong lah Muhyiddin. I have been to one ok. It was a 5 day course and indeed the so-called trainers/motivators had nothing in mind but to slam and badmouth Pakatan Rakyat or Opposition parties. Anwar was said to be a Pengkhianat Melayu and an agent to some Yahudi movement; DAP is a pure Chinese party whose main aim is to take over the country and once it does that, Malays will be sidelined (konon...like Belanda dapat tanah); PAS was said to be the "Pemecah Melayu" and that will make the Malays in the country weak. And guess what...who was said to be the saviour of all Malaysians...UMNO and UMNO ONLY. Whoe else.
We were also taught to hate and not to trust the Chinese and Indians and must always remember that Malaysia is a Malay's land.

So please Muhyiddin...be a responsible politician. Dont simply make statements and deny this and that...as if ALL OF US are stupid and can simply swallow your lies. Be honest for once will you. Check you facts first before you start firing you lies.

I dont mind you saying that the Goverment is looking into it an will make necesary adjustments. But to simply DENY everything....that really gets on my nerves.

Even with all the public outcry and anger over BTN, you deliberately go all out to defend this racist brainwashing agency. It means only one thing - you have total disregard and contempt for the PM's 1Malaysia concept and the rakyat's opinions and wishes. It will register in our minds for a very long time to come and you can save on your next fictitious speeches on "national unity".

written by JCz, November 26, 2009
I can testify about what happened to participants in BTN as I've also attended one of those a few years back. While during my time they don't state out that UMNO is our only 'savior', they told us repeatedly that only the current government could maintain stability in M'sia & any opposition is just talking nonsense without any skills to run the country. They've also shown us a chart on the income disparity in M'sia & told us that NEP is to help those poor Malays(which we all know is to help enrich a few UMNO putras).
Furthermore, they forced the non-Muslims to acknowledge that the Malays are the tuan in M'sia & we should just be glad for getting our citizen-ships. We were then asked to take a test answering questions about how great the Malays are & we should not challenge them. Fail the test & we won't be allowed to continue in our respective universities.

I'm a Chinese, born & bred in M'sia. But during the entire BTN, it was nothing but torture & shame. Just like what the Nazi's made of the Jews.

A country's leaders must show great capabilities in leading the country with integrity, honesty and taking good care of their citizens without giving stupid statements that show otherwise.

From The Malaysian Insider's report: Najib plumps for GST to fill revenue hole.

The country is gearing up to introduce a goods and services tax (GST) with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak stating that he plans to table the first reading of a proposed GST Bill before the current sitting of the Dewan Rakyat ends in mid-December.

Here I am not saying whether the GST is good or bad, whether the public is happy or unhappy about it. The PM should know better, if he is a capable leader with integrity, honesty and cares for the rakyat.

Instead, he try to be smart by adding this statement:

“Basically, the whole world has introduced the GST,” he observed, leaving Malaysia as one of the odd ones out.

How stupid can he be by comparing with the whole world. If he wants to use the world to justify his introducing of the GST, then he must be brave enough to compare our state of democracy, media freedom, human rights, corruptions within all our institutions and all the obsolete laws that are still in place.

He cannot simply pick and choose what to compare and leave the ugly ones under the carpet.

The DPM is trying to outdo the PM to show how stupid he can be.

From The Malaysian Insider's report: Ku Li will know what to do about caucus, says DPM .

In what appears to be confusion whether Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah will head the oil royalty caucus, Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today said he believes the Umno veteran will make a correct decision on the matter.

How can he be the DPM when he cannot differentiate between Government and party. The oil royalty is a matter between the State and Federal Government and has nothing to do with umno or any party. So what makes him look stupid, read what he said:

The Umno deputy president also stressed that party is more important than state and its members should respect the principle.

Oh my GOD, how can that be, umno is more important than the State, which means the rakyat come second after umno. Is he trying to destroy Najib's so called "1Malaysia People First Performance Now" slogan? Or is he trying to interpret it as "umno first"?

What I can conclude here is that the two leaders are not sincere in looking after the country and its rakyat but protecting their own power base in umno.

MACC did not say that they will appeal against the court ruling , instead the Attorney General Gani-Patail wants to appeal.

What will happen to all the employees working in Malaysia if the Attorney General Gani-Patail wins the appeal.

Although our employment letter or contract stated the working hours, under the job descriptions or work duties, it described and stated our "day to day" job function as well.

Does this means that the employer, base on the "day to day" job functions as written in the LA or contract, that he can order us to work right through the night or at any hour that he pleases?

We know the AG is fighting to please his master without taking into consideration, that should he wins the appeal, other employees in Malaysia will have to suffer if their LA or contract describe their "day to day" job function.

This is the sad thing about "1Malaysia, People First, Performance Now", they are performing now for their people first, others are thrown along the sideways.

The big question comes to mind again, WHY THEY DID NOT APPEAL AGAINST THE ACQUITTAL OF RAZAK BAGINDA IN THE ALTANTUYA MURDER CASE ?

Judicial Commissioner (JC) Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof had ruled that the MACC can only carry out questioning during office hours which is between 8.30am and 5.30pm.

Mohamad Ariff had pointed out in his ruling that the meaning of the phrase day to day as laid down in Section 30(3)(a) of the MACC Act – cannot mean round-the-clock investigation, which includes recording statements from the witness. Read MACC response here.

Press Statement by Teresa Kok, Selangor State Senior Exco and Member of Parliament for Seputeh on 21st November 2009 at Kuala Lumpur:

It is appalling that Attorney General Gani-Patail wants to appeal the landmark ruling by the High Court that it is illegal for Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to interrogate witnesses through the night, despite reports that the MACC will abide by the decision. They will appeal every case, small or big, relevant or irrelevant, when the judgement is not in their favor. It does not matter whether the law or constitution are torn apart, they must win.

The biggest surprise of all, when it is relevant to appeal on the acquittal of Razak Baginda on the murder trial of Altantuya, they did not do so. Something is really wrong somewhere.

If you happen to write or say something that is not true about the government, all the entire forces from mcmc, pdrm, AG, macc and leaders will come after you, talking of taking legal actions, charges thrown on you and you will be hassled.

And yet, the revelation by missing private investigator P Bakasubramaniam linking Datuk Seri Najib Razak to the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu is kept under tab by the authorities and the media. No sound at all, as quite as the church mouse.

I call upon the authorities to take immediate actions before the country is brought to shame.

"All Quiet On The Putrajaya Front" is not going to make Altantuya murder case just disappeared.

If PI Bala's claims are true, the authority must initiate an immediate thorough investigation.

If PI Bala's claims are not true, the authority must also take immediate action to bring him in and charge him for the crime of spreading false information.

The following are taken from Malaysia Today, click on the link to read the detail story.

Part 2: Bala’s prison without bars
Bala is made to sign the 2nd SD and is bundled out of the country. From thereon they keep him on a tight leash and he no longer has control over what he can say or do. He discovers he has just entered a life of imprisonment; although without the normal bars and padlocks but still a prison nevertheless.

Part 3: The Malaysian police catch up with Bala
The Malaysian police catch up with Bala in Bangkok and ask to meet him. However, they are only interested in talking about the first SD and there is no discussion whatsoever about the second SD. The Malaysian police, therefore, know the truth but chose to bury it rather than take action.

Part 4: Bala finds his life turned upside down
Life on the run is not as rosy as most imagine when one’s family has to suffer. Bala finds that the money means very little when family life and the children’s education are sacrificed. He decides to change all that and to regain his normal life but his ‘handlers’ have other ideas. He realises, therefore, he has to break away from them if he really wants to be free.

Part 5: I just want the harassment to end
Bala reveals that to date he was paid RM750,000 but the harassment continues and he feels more like a prisoner. He says he has come out of the closet so that the harassment can end and he can lead a normal life again. He just wants his life back.

I had not read any print newspaper for over 5 years and today I happened to get the free copy of The Sun. I read the front page side column with the title; "Anti-corruption efforts noted, ranking drops". This is what TI-M president Datuk Paul Low said as reported by The Sun.

"PM Najib's moves to initiate reforms in some institutions, especially the judiciary, and the setting up of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, to make them more independent, transparent and accountable, was the way forward for the country."

Did we see the judiciary and MACC being reformed to be more independent, transparent and accountable? Up till today we have yet to see any reform or am I living in another world?

When things go bad for the government there is always thousands of reasons and excuses being given by leaders and worst the president of TI-M, they some how or rather need to say good things to cover up what is bad.

Malaysia plunged nine places from last year’s 47th Transparency International (TI) Corruption Perception Index (CPI) ranking to 56th position this year.
Read the list of ranking here.

If I am the TI-M president, this will be my comment.

"Malaysia corruption ranking will keep on sliding should the judiciary and MACC still maintain the way they are performing now. PM Najib must free the judiciary and MACC immediately which are under his domain. Let them performed their duties without fear or favor and most important, NO POLITICAL INTERFERENCE. By just talking of reform without walking the talk will not uplift the ranking. PM Najib must have integrity and the guts to walk all his talk."

"Ronnie Liu is connected to the underworld", the police, macc and the AG jumping high and low to call for immediate investigation and action. Suspicious RM2,400 corruption, full onslaught by the macc leaving one young man dead. Tian Chua bite a policeman ear, found guilty, basing just on the word of the policeman. If you are on the opposite site, anything, big or small, hiccup or a sneeze can get you into trouble. Even posting on anonymous blog against the oppositions get the attention of the media and the authority.

When can Altantuya Shaariibuu rest in peace, when can the murder case come to an end? From what we see, the authority deemed Altantuya case as concluded after two men were found guilty of committing this heinous crime. Even though the two men had no motive and only knew Altantuya on the day she was murdered, the authority feels it need not have to pursue any further for the motive and the mastermind who ordered the killing.

If a drug peddler is caught, the police is sure to put pressure on him to find out who the main supplier is. For other murder cases, the police usually will investigate for the motives, love quarrel, over money or whatever because there is always a motive for a murder.

Why is Altantuya murder case investigated and cause of action taken be different from others? I have no answer for that.

Revelation by missing private investigator P Bakasubramaniam linking Datuk Seri Najib Razak to the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu in parts were posted at Malaysia Today website.

Part 1: The mystery unveiled
What really happened in the 48 hours after PI Bala unveiled his first SD on 3 July 2008? Why did he sign a second SD that contradicted his first SD barely a few hours later? And where did he disappear to for more than a year just hours after signing his second SD? And which SD was signed under duress, the first or second? Today, Malaysia Today will answer all those questions that have been on the minds of Malaysians since July last year.

He decides to change all that and to regain his normal life but his ‘handlers’ have other ideas. He realises, therefore, he has to break away from them if he really wants to be free.

Why the authority has yet to response to these claims. These are very serious claims which can have a very bad impression of our PM and bring shame to the country. The pdrm, macc and the AG must initiate a probe immediately, just like the lighting speed that they carry out on all sorts of reports against the oppositions.

"All Quiet On The Putrajaya Front" is not going to keep Altantuya murder case just disappeared.

A very interesting forum where we got to learn the methodology of Merdeka Center conducting their polls. Charts, figures, percentage and breaking down into details right to the opinion of each different races and ages. Of course the forum cannot end without the usual Q & A. The accuracy of the poll, especially if it is political, depends mostly on the individual and his/her affiliation to the party, how they would want to view it. You can read more about the forum detail at Masterwordsmith.

You can find more about the Merdeka Center at their website www.merdeka.org, but be forewarned that one of their sponsor is umno/bn and you may feel a little agitated by some of their lopsided news although in the forum, Ibrahim Suffian, the Head of Programs and a Director of the Merdeka Centre of Opinion Research, assured that all their polls were conducted professionally and are independent.

Malaysiakini reported, according to Merdeka Centre director Ibrahim Suffian, Barisan Nasional would fare better than the last general election if the 13th general election is held today. He said BN may also regain its two-thirds in the 222-seat lower house of Parliament, with rival block Pakatan Rakyat winning about 50 to 60 seats..read full story here.
These are Ibrahim Suffian opinion and we will respect his opinion as such, since he is the one conducting all those polls and have a great insight of the overall general views.

After the forum, I had a short talk with Ibrahim Suffian to raise my concern on the polls accuracy especially the political ones. I pointed out that tracking poll, like the political poll should be based on the same core group of about 5,000 people. Since the media is always biased, Merdeka Center should also take the same poll online and consider the online poll results in their overall analysis. At present their poll usually has a +/- variance of about 3% but I disagree and put the variance to be as much as between 15% to 20%.

Anyway, this is just my point of view. I would not take their political poll as accurate, the simple reason being, Merdeka Center, other survey companies and political experts did not get the right forecast and most of them are way off on their results for the 12th GE tsunami.

Ibrahim Suffian opinion as reported by Malaysiakini looks accurate, but we have to factor in the 20 million ringgit spent to lift the image of 1 PM, the sweet and sounding report by the media and the blast of ads by all the local TV stations. If these were taken away will his opinion remain the same?

Now, what happen to umno ketuanan melayu policy, utusan racist reporting and umno leaders usual race division remarks. These are all being put into the pressure cooker by 1 umno president. You can see that umno is now "umno for all", utusan silencing on their racist report and umno leaders coming out with statements friendly to the Indians and Chinese.

We know it is hard for umno members and leaders to stomach such a dramatic change by their 1 umno president to give in to the other races demand. Majority also know that these are just superficial changes remark by 1PM, unless they see concrete implementations and changes to all his talks, they are keeping quite for now. 1 PM knows that he needed the votes of other races, in order for umno to remain in power, so he is just doing what he needs to do to entice the voters to return to umno/bn fold.

Until the 1 PM can be assured of a resounding victory in the next GE, umno members, leaders and utusan have to stay inside the pressure cooker to stop them from coming out with statements that can antagonised the other races.

How long can they stay inside the pressure cooker with its air vent plugged as well, time will tell. 1 PM has still a lot to give in to the other races, especially the Chinese, in order to regain their confident and vote but is umno members, leaders and utusan going to stay quietly and patiently inside the boiling pressure cooker?

Ibrahim Suffian opinion is a wake up call for Pakatan Rakyat, which is good and timely while 1PM must understand that he needs to put into actions all his talks fast before his own pressure cooker explode.

Altantuya Shariibuu Murder, Intriguing, Suspense, Truth & Lies

Update: Free Malaysia Today updated their report "
PI Bala drops Bombshell 3: Update 1" after it was removed from the site yesterday for no apparent reason.

VVIPs likely to be named

FINALLY, private investigator P.Balasubramaniam has come out of hiding after 15 months to give a no holds barred interview on what happened to him.

In the presence of three prominent lawyers on Oct 27, he reaffirmed that his first statutory declaration released on July 3 last year was true and that he was offered to RM5million to retract it.

He named carpet businessman Deepak—who is said to be an associate of Rosmah Mansor, the wife of Prime Minister Najib Razak—as the person who met him at a Rawang restaurant and made the cash offer. Read full story here.

The case of Altantuya Shariibuu Murder cannot be closed even though two men had being found guilty of committing the crime. The questions in everyone's mind are, who order the killing and what is the motive. The AG and PDRM seems not willing to pursue this case any further and are just happy that that two men were found guilty. End of the case.

The story from Free Malaysia Today about the Altantuya murder saga had being removed. No reason was provided at the said website.

The government is seeking public feedback and ideas on ways to improve national unity and 1Malaysia.

National unity under the new 1Malaysia concept must seek to remove the barrier of majority/minority and race base way of dealing or implementing of national policies.

Source: Wikipedia
The Malaysian New Economic Policy (NEP or DEB for Dasar Ekonomi Baru in Malay), is an ambitious and controversial socio-economic restructuring affirmative action program launched by the Malaysian government in 1971 under the then Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak. The NEP ended in 1990, and was succeeded by the National Development Policy in 1991. Although the NEP was hailed in some quarters as having reduced the socioeconomic disparity between the Chinese minority and Malay majority, others accused it of having reduced non-Malays to the status of second-class citizens by cementing ketuanan Melayu (Malay supremacy). The NEP is often invoked as part of the Malay Agenda, which is in turn part of the Malaysian social contract granting Malays special rights in return for citizenship for non-Malays.

The implementation of the NEP was one of the National Operations Council, (NOC) first decisions, and the plan had the stated goal of "eventually eradicat[ing] poverty...irrespective of race" through a rapidly expanding economy, which would reduce the non-Malay share of the economy in relative terms, while increasing it in absolute terms.

Many non-Malay Malaysians were used to the NEP and accepted the true fact that the poor Malays do need help by way of the NEP to reduced the socioeconomic disparity between the Chinese minority and Malay majority. The non-Malay Malaysians stood on their own two feet to weather through thick and thin of the economy over the years.

What the non-Malay Malaysians cannot accept now is that the original purpose and implementation of the NEP were not adhered to, instead it was hijacked by certain powerful quarters to make a handful of the rich and well connected to become even richer. It is also used for political agenda. It is now a one party NEP helping only those that are well connected and aligned to the party.

How can National unity and 1Malaysia be successful if it continues to hijack the NEP by the leaders of one political party to enrich themselves.

My feedback suggestion #11 to the KPI Minister:

Open up the NEP to all eligible poor Malaysians, like it was originally planned for. Stop those who already make it from further exploiting the NEP.

The KPI Minister must really study and look into the following statement if National unity is what Najib's wanted:

"The NEP no longer helps the poor but is instead an institutionalized system of handouts for the largest ethnic community in Malaysia as the NEP does not discriminate based on economic class. Bumiputras of high and low economic standing are entitled to the same benefits."

The government is seeking public feedback and ideas on ways to improve national unity and 1Malaysia.

National unity under the new 1Malaysia concept must seek to remove the majority and minority way of dealing or implementing of national policies.

Our constitution has clearly identify that Islam is the official religion of this country while other religions are allowed to be practiced freely.

Over the years, religious issues have became the worst cause of disunity among Malaysians and a great weapon used by political leaders to ensure their power base remained intact.

Religious believe is between oneself and God, and by playing politics inclusive of religions will slowly and surely see chaos reigned.

My feedback and suggestion #10 to the KPI Minister:

Malaysians are very aware that Islam is the official religion as enshrined in the constitution, (no one is questioning about that) while other religions are allowed to be practiced freely.

Do not allow political leaders to hijack this sanctity of God for their own interest or gain. Separate politics from religious matters. DO NOT TRY TO PLAY GOD. Leave religious subjects or conflicts to the individual religious council members of each religion to be resolved by themselves.

You want a true 1Malaysia unity, leave religion alone and don't mess with it.
